Kontact will sync with your Palm, using KPilot under the hood, but 
OpenSync does not, because it does not support the latest pilot-link 
libraries (which I maintain); 0.12.0. 

I have tested both and from what I can tell, OpenSync is not complete, and 
does not support many features yet.
